  • Rejecting consent sets a browser flag that prevents Google Analytics from sending data for future visits on this device.

Stored data on your device

The consent choice is stored in localStorage using a persistent site preference so the banner does not reappear on every page load.

  • Stored key: analytics-consent-status.
  • Possible values: unknown, accepted, rejected.
  • Clearing site data in your browser removes this preference and causes the banner to appear again.

How to change your choice

You can reset or remove your site storage in the browser settings at any time. Once the stored consent value is removed, the banner will appear again and you can choose a different option.

  • Browser privacy settings typically let you clear cookies and local storage for a specific site.
  • If you previously declined, analytics remain disabled unless you later accept after clearing the stored preference.
  • If you previously accepted, removing the stored preference stops future analytics until you opt in again.
